Third in State

Well Skylee's high school career is over :( They played their last game today against Tooele ( I learned how to spell it!) we were up two to nothing through the majority of the game, But then they came back and beat us 6 to 2. for some reason the game, the score, nothing seems to matter right now. All we remember is how nervous we were when Skylee tried out her seventh grade year, wondering if she would even make the team, to think she would become a 5 year starter Wow!!! she had the highest batting average her Sophmore year of anyone on the team. She went to State her Sophmore year. She went her whole junior year without ONE stike-out and won offensive player of the year, made honorable mention in all-area, when the team had barely won four games!! She has done amazing and did everything her coaches expected out of her. She became team captain this year and as you know now took third in state. quite a awesome little ball player. I just reminded Mindi the other night that Skylee was also born with a VSD ( Not the severity or anything like LibbI's) so to think she grew up to be such an amazing ballplayer is truly more than we ever imagined... We love you Sky. Good Job!!!

For the majority of Skylee's softball life she played next to her best friend/ sister Angela. She had the AWESOME privilage to be COACHED by Ang this year when Ang took over the assisant coaching job at Bonneville, the memories these girls have made on the ball field are priceless....Thanks, coach Stander....We Love you too!!!
